Cote, the high-end Korean steakhouse in New York’s Flatiron District, has been ranked No. 10 on the 2025 World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants list—making it the only U.S. restaurant to crack the top ten this year.
Known for its polished take on Korean barbecue, Cote has held a Michelin star since its opening and continues to draw packed dining rooms with its signature tableside grilling, USDA Prime and American Wagyu cuts, and an array of traditional Korean side dishes. The restaurant’s signature Butcher’s Feast, which includes a selection of premium meats, house-made banchan, savory egg soufflé, and bubbling stews, remains its most sought-after order.
Now in its sixth year, the World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants list highlights restaurants that combine top-tier meat with excellence in service and innovation. Cote’s blend of Korean culinary tradition and American steakhouse refinement has made it a standout in both categories—and one of the toughest reservations in the city.
Cote was also the only American steakhouse on the top ten list in 2024, down from a high of five American restaurants in the top ten in 2022. A newcomer restaurant in Seoul called Born & Bred landed at No. 15 on the list.
