About Dr. Stephanie Han
Dr. Stephanie Han is an author, educator, and speaker. She authored the award-winning fiction collection Swimming in Hong Kong (Willow Springs Books), the Paterson Fiction Prize recipient, and the sole finalist for the AWP Grace Paley Prize for Short Fiction, the Spokane Prize, and the Asian Books Blog Award. Her writing has been recognized by Nimrod International Literary Journal, The South China Morning Post/RTHK, and Santa Fe Writer’s Project and supported by PEN-Emerging Voices, VONA, and the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs.
The inaugural English Literature Ph.D. graduate of the City University of Hong Kong lives in Hawai’i, home of her family since 1904. She teaches writing and literature workshops online at drstephaniehan.com.
